About

“We like to think of ourselves as our clients’ agent, acting for you as you would act for yourself if you had our knowledge and experience.
Ours is a relationship business, built on close personal relationships with our clients.”
Paul has over 50 years’ experience in Private Client Stockbroking, and approaching 40 of those years has been spent in senior management.
Before founding Killik & Co in 1989, Paul was a Partner of Killik Cassel Haley & Co which merged with Quilter Hilton Goodison in 1975. Having become a Partner of Quilter he ran the Private Client Department from 1982 and, during that time, the firm was at the forefront of wider share ownership, opening the first share shop in the UK within Debenhams, Oxford Street.
Paul was a board member of the Personal Investment Management and Financial Advice Association (PIMFA) – the representative body for the investment and planning community) from 1997 until 2021. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Killik & Co opened for business in 1989, and the vision was, and remains, to build a different style of investment firm, one that offers advice alongside accessibility and the absence of intimidation, to investors at every level. Uniquely, given the increasing preponderance of Execution Only houses, the company provides a high level of personal service via its network of branches, where expert Brokers and Wealth Planners offer both advice and execution to investors.
Under Paul’s leadership, the company is one of the few remaining independent Partnerships. With client assets of approaching £8bn, Killik & Co has grown rapidly to become a significant, and readily recognisable, player in the stockbroking, wealth planning and investment management markets in the UK.
