We are delighted to be supporting the St Elizabeth’s Hospice via Elmer’s Big Parade Suffolk, which takes place between the 15th June and 7th September.

Based on the much loved children’s character, Elmer the Patchwork Elephant, 55 individually designed elephants will be popping-up all around Ipswich, including our very own elephant, Stella the Storyteller.

Designed in collaboration with renowned Suffolk wildlife artist, Laura Beardsell-Moore, and drawing inspiration from the original Patchwork Elmer with her fabulous quirks and colours, Stella’s patchwork is instead made of stories and much-loved memories. Illustrations depicting the ‘Life Well Lived‘ stories from our colleagues’ relations, cared for by St Elizabeth Hospice.

Stella will be on display outside our Ipswich office until 14th September as part of the parade, and to celebrate and help raise money for this fantastic cause, we will also be hosting a number of children’s story telling sessions over the summer (available to book below), as well as short story competitions. Be sure to follow Stella on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook to get involved.

The Hospice plays a vital role in the Suffolk community and we are thrilled to be able to support them. If you would like to make a donation to the Hospice, please click here.

If you have unlocked the reward code via Elmer’s Big Parade app, email your name to info@killik.com for a chance to win a family ticket to Colchester Zoo.

Children’s storytelling with Stella the Storyteller

Wednesday 14th August 2019

Location: Crown House, Crown St, Ipswich IP1 3HS

Back by popular demand and in association with Elmer’s Big Parade Suffolk, we invite you and your little ones to our second story telling session of the summer, which will take place on the grass outside Crown House with renown local story teller, Justine de Mierre.

Throughout the session Justine will take your children’s imaginations to far flung places as she leads them on a journey that is set to thrill and delight. There will be refreshments available for both parents and children.

Any donations given on the day will go to the St Elizabeth’s Hospice.
