Trainee Portfolio Assistant

We require a Trainee Portfolio Assistant to assist the Portfolio Management function. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to Investment Managers and clients
  • Provide support to the wider portfolio management/fund research team
  • Monitor and resolve issues sent to the shared mailbox 
  • Check management fees, monitor pay-aways and complete relevant journals
  • Monitor new cash deposits and stock transfers
  • Check contract notes and input ‘reason why’ comments
  • Monitor existing portfolio cash levels
  • Manage end of tax year workload
  • Incept and monitor trades
  • Liaise with in-house dealers

Qualifications / Experience Required

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent is preferred
  • Previous experience of customer service within an office environment
  • Previous experience in Financial Services is desirable
  • Demonstrable interest and understanding of capital markets

Contractual Hours

9.00am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday

However flexibility will be required to work later on occasions
