Research & Portfolio Administrator

Mayfair

We require a Research & Portfolio Administrator to provide administrative support to the Fixed Income service, within our Research team.

Key Accountabilities

Fixed Income Service – Portfolio Management Support

  • Maintaining client database and ensuring accounts are grouped correctly
  • Monitoring new cash deposits and stock transfers
  • Monitoring existing portfolio cash levels
  • Generating information for regular portfolio reviews
  • Checking management fees, monitoring pay-aways, doing relevant journals
  • Checking contract notes and inputting ‘reason why’ comments

Research Support

  • Proof-read research content
  • Ensure required record-keeping is kept up to date
  • Maintain the research intranet, ensuring it is kept up to date
  • Keep bond lists up to date

Meeting Preparation

  • Gathering data for recurring reports and meeting agenda items
  • Production of various reports
  • First draft of presentations/updates for client and internal meetings

Dealing with other queries and requests as they arise

  • Adhoc data/chart requests
  • Answering the phone
  • Diary management

Qualifications / Experience Required

  • Strong academic credentials
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Interest and understanding of investment markets
  • Experience of using FactSet and Bloomberg advantageous but not essential

Contractual Hours

9.00am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday
