Permitted Investment Types

Unlike a traditional personal pension, the Killik & Co Self Invested Personal Pension offers far greater flexibility in terms of the assets that can be held within its wrapper. Our SIPP enables investors to spread investment risk across various asset options, but also to select investments that meet any specific requirements and financial objectives set.

What can I invest in through a SIPP?

A wide range of investments can be held in a SIPP, including:

  • UK and foreign equities
  • Collective investments such as unit trusts and investment trusts or OEICs
  • Hedge Funds and most other Offshore Funds
  • Cash
  • Gilts
  • Bonds
  • Commercial property (under review)
  • Contracts for Difference (CFDs) – a sophisticated, leveraged opportunity in the higher risk category
