Contributing to your ISA or SIPP before the end of the tax year.

Taxes have gone up and, given the size of the fiscal deficit, may go up even more. It therefore becomes more important to consider using every available tax efficient wrapper.

We would ask you to get any new applications to us by Wednesday 31 March 2010.

We can accept new applications for both ISAs and SIPPs up to 5pm on Monday 5 April 2010 (by hand delivery to our Mayfair Head Office only – see below). However any applications received after 31 March will be at your own risk and all paperwork must be correct and completed in full. If anything is missing, incorrect or if any identity checks subsequently fail then the application will have to be processed in the 2010/2011 tax year. So we strongly advise you to get your application to us as early as possible.

Submitting your ISA or SIPP application:

By post to any of our branches - The Easter Bank Holiday falls over the same period as the end of tax year and so if you wish to send your paperwork by post, please ensure it reaches us by Wednesday 31 March.

In person – In addition to our normal opening hours of 08:00 – 17:30, the following branches will be open on Saturday 13 March, Saturday 20 March, Saturday 27 March and Saturday 3 April from 9:00am to 12:00pm;
Chelsea, Esher, Hampstead, Kensington, Mayfair (Head Office), Richmond and St John's Wood. Last minute applications can be made, to our Mayfair Head Office only, up until 5pm on Monday 5 April.
